Shrimp Stir Fry Recipe

(Makes 8 servings)

  • 1 lb shrimp, tails on
  • 1 cup onions, diced
  • 1/2 cup carrots, sliced
  • 1/2 cup celery, diced
  • 8 oz baby corn, canned
  • 3 cups bean sprouts, fresh
  • 8 oz water chestnuts, sliced, canned
  • 8 oz bamboo shoots, sliced, canned
  • 1/8 cup soy sauce
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/8 cup  low fat cream
  • 1 tbsp garlic powder
  • 1 tbsp flour

  1. In a large skillet heat olive oil.
  2. Add onions, celery, and carrots; saute 2-3 minutes.
  3. Add shrimp, soy sauce, and garlic powder; saute till shrimp are almost done; they will be white/opaque.
  4. Add remaining ingredients.
  5. Stir well and let simmer for 15-20 minutes.
